Do you remember chalk and blackboards?
Vidunenahawula Website (National Institute of Fundamental Studies)
Chalk and blackboards are familiar to most of us. At first, the main component of chalk is Calcium carbonate (CaCO 3 ), a form of limestone. But do you know that most chalk today isn’t technically chalk at all, but gypsum. Gypsum is more common and easier to work with than chalk. Chalk is composed of calcium and oxygen combined with carbon (CaCO3), while gypsum is made up of calcium and oxygen combined with Sulfur. (CaSO4.2H2O)
