Have you seen a defibrillator?

In movies you may have seen a patient lying on the bed while a doctor pressing a defibrillator on the patient’s chest and shouting clear. You may think that from the electric shock the heart starts again, but it actually stops the heart. To make it more simply let me compare the heart to a school band. The band is the heart muscles while the conductor is the heart’s SA node. Imagine if the conductor goes away for a short period, the drummers, trumpets, violinist would go out of beat. When the conductor comes back to get back to the beat the conductor would stop the music and then start again. This is what happens by a defibrillator. The defibrillator would stop the heart. Then again, the heart would restart and find its rhythm.
