Why dust stuck in the fan when the wings are spinning?

Vidunenahawula Website (National Institute of Fundamental Studies)

Due to the high temperature in these days most of you must be using a fan to cool. It is in motion every time when in use. But if you look on the blades of the fan you will notice that there are lot of dust deposited on the blade of the fan. Can you think of a reason why the ceiling plastic fans gets dusty even if they move? When the blades of the plastic fan moves through the air the blades builds up a charge which is known as static electricity. It is like the plastic comb which builds up a charge when rubbed against your dry hair. As the dust particles moves through the air it interacts with charged built blades and gets attracted to the blade. Therefore you would find lot of dust on the plastic fan.
