Sometimes when you are having a stroll outside you may feel it is very much hotter or colder than the temperature shown on a thermometer. What could be the reason for this? If you have looked at a weather app you may have seen apart from the temperature there is also a term named “feel like temperature”. This feel like temperature is the temperature you actually feel. This feel temperature is influenced by both humidity and wind apart from the temperature. When there is a moving wind the sweat that carries your heat is blown away making you feel much colder than the actual temperature. When the humidity of a day is high sweat from our evaporates less making us feel much hotter than the actual temperature.
