Some of you may be using a perfume to cover up the body odor. But sometime even with a good perfume you cannot cover up the smell of body odor. Explain what causes body odor.
Body odor is perceived as the unpleasant smell our bodies give off. Normally when you work your sweat glands produce sweat. There are two type of sweat glands in your body which produces sweat. They are eccrine and apocrine glands. This produced sweat is odorless. But Bacteria situated on the skin feed on the proteins and fats of this produced sweat. This turns the odorless sweat into different compounds which gives off an unpleasant smell. This is what we smell as body odor. So, make sure you wash your armpits or to use a deodorant.
