In the developing world robots and AI is considered as one of the fields in futuristic science. You may have seen or read about robots which helps people to ease up their day to day activities. But have you come across a robot which helps the growth of plants? Elowan robot is one of them. Elowan is a robot plant hybrid. The plant is rested on the robot. Normally the environmental factors like light, gravity affecting the plant excites the plant tissues. The robot is connected to theses tissues using electrodes. The stimuli felt by the plant is read by the robot and moves and acts according to it. For an example when the tissues are stimulated due to lack of light the robot moves towards a light source. In the future robots would help in providing nutrients and defending the plants.
