How does words remain in focus even though you are moving?

When you are reading this, slowly shake your head left and right. Have you noticed how the words on the screen remained in focus? How does words remain in focus even though you are moving? This is known as gaze stabilization. It’s this natural ability that allows us to maintain a clear line of vision even when our bodies are in motion. When you focus your attention to the article, your eyes naturally stabilized the image in front of you. When your head rotates to a direction your inner ear detects the movement of you head. So, to keep your eyes in focus with the words your body makes eye movements that are equal in magnitude but opposite in direction to your head motion.
