Why always another side of pillow cooler than the side you keep your head?

After a long tiring day you would go to sleep. But even after some time you can’t seem to fall asleep. You flip the pillow to the other side. As you lay your head on that side you would feel the coolness of that side of the pillow and you drift off to sleep. But why is the other side of the pillow is much cooler than the one you keep your head on? Normally, heat is released from your body. According to scientists your head radiates more heat than any other part of the body. So, the pillow absorbs this heat. As most pillows are made from material that do not conduct heat that side of the pillows retains the heat. But the other side of the pillow stays about the same temperature as the room temperature. So the other side of the pillow feels cool.
