Both milk and curd are dairy products. But have you ever wondered why milk tastes sweet and curd tastes sour? Milk has lactose and lactose is a large sugar molecule that is made up of two smaller sugar molecules, glucose and galactose and it makes milk sweet. When it comes to curd, Lactobacillus bulgaricus converts lactose into lactic acid and acid makes curd sour.
