Why do you add some salt to water when boiling eggs?

Most of you like to eat boiled eggs. We add some salt to water when boiling eggs. Explain why do we add salt when boiling eggs. Have you heard about the boiling point? The boiling point is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of a liquid equals the external pressure surrounding the liquid. Then the liquid changes into a vapor. The boiling point of water is 100 °C. The most common reason to add salt to water when boiling an egg is to increase the temperature of the water. Adding materials such as salt or sugar increases the boiling point. Also, if you add salt, eggs will not get cracked and egg shells will come out easily when you peel it.
