Imagine after a tiring day you are lying on the bed to have a good night’s sleep and suddenly you hear a sharp buzzing sound near your ears. Your sleep is broken and you are furious. But have you thought how mosquitoes and bees buzz? In order to fly bees, mosquitoes and other insects flap their wings rapidly. When the bees flap their wings rapidly it creates vibrations in the air. We humans detect it as buzzing.
