How do fish not drown in water?

Vidunenahawula Website (National Institute of Fundamental Studies)

When you drop an iron nail into the water it would sink due to density. All of you know that if we put an object denser than water it would sink. Most fish are much denser than water. But how do they keep from sinking? There are a few techniques that fish use to keep from sinking. One of this is having an organ named swim bladder. The swim bladder is located near the fish’s stomach and it is a long balloon filled with air. The fish who has this organ can change the volume of air inside this balloon. Through this it can change its own density. So, changing density it can come up to the surface or sink to the bottom.
